This week is off to a busy start already.
D4 is starting to feel the college pressure. I am happy about that. I want them to feel it now rather then in January when it is too late to do anything about it.
Classical monologues are due today and we will be weeding through those to decide which are keepers and which are not.
We are also going to continue to hear more contemp. monologues. We want to have those locked down and memorized by the end of the week. (Line check on the first half of contemp is Thursday.) Today we are going to spend a little bit of time looking at the first set of pieces for those auditioning for Oklahoma.
D2 is going to do a practice shoot of their scenes this week. There is no better critique then the critique you give yourself when you are watching your work. We are also going to spend some time this week exploring the Uta Hagen technique of substitution.
Raisin is plugging right along. We are closing in on having the whole play blocked and worked at the table.
Get those tickets! It is going to be good.
