Week of Jan 31-Feb 4

Monday all classes will finish viewing and discussing Macbeth in preparation for the spring Drama show auditions.
On Friday all classes will begin work on a scene slam project while Ms Grant is at textbook adoption followed by the Chicago trip to Unifieds.

Now for the in between:
D1 and D2
Tuesday: Review and repair blocking from the blocking check
Wednesday: Rehearsals
Thursday: Round Ones begin

D3:
Tuesday-Thursday
These will be physical exploration days learning the Gratwoski method. Please bring dress outs all of these days.

Week of Jan 24-Jan 28

We will have lots of visitors to the Brook this week, so be sure to be on your best behavior.

How to Succeed opens this Thursday at the Civic Center. Try to get over there and see it. It should be a fun show.

Tuesday and Wednesday I will be at Textbook adoption for the county, so you will have an awesome and wonderfully acted film to watch.

Drama One and Two-
Monday: Blocking Check
Thursday: What makes a good rehearsal- exercises to help your work
Friday: Corrections from the blocking check, beginning rehearsals

Drama 3
Monday: Wrap up on D3 projects
Thursday: Introduction to Gratowski
Friday: Continued Gratowski exploration. Check for monologue choices.

Week of January 18-21

Wow! A week of school off for snow. I hope everyone had a great time during your unexpected vacation. Sledding, sitting by the fire, sleeping...now it is time to get back to work.
Drama One and Drama Two:
We will get our scenes up and running again. Let's put the schedule in overdrive to see if we can't get going.

Tuesday: Getting back in gear with the scenes. Lines, blocking, analysis, etc.
Weds: Line check part 1 scene
Thursday: Line check part 2
Friday: Blocking check on scene

Drama 4
This week will be devoted entirely to finishing our student films. The final deadline is Friday. You should be editing and working in a mad rush to finish.
