The Last 6 weeks- Week of April 12-16
Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a great break. Spring is FINALLY here and we are doing anything but winding down for these last six weeks. There are still shows and concerts, final scenes and drama 4 projects, juries and of course, graduation. The last six weeks is anything but mellow at the Brook.
Drama 1
This week is going to be all about getting those scenes up and moving forward with the acting. I have given directors a ton of notes about cuts and blocking and they have a lot to accomplish before round 1's on Monday of next week.
Monday: Review of lines and line check
Tuesday-Friday: Warm-up followed by rehearsal for round ones.
Drama 3
This week we will be focusing on deepening our creative freedom in the movement work. At the very end of the week we will begin moving into bringing this work into actual text.
Mon-Weds: Gratowski sessions with full work and new exercises. Please bring dress outs.
Thurs, Friday: Introduction of text work using Gratowski
