Weds Thurs: Improvisation exercises related to conflict
Friday: Improvisation exercises related to character
Drama 4:
Monday-Friday we will forward our knowledge of the Linklater progression before continuing into our college work. Please memorize Sonnet # 116. (Follow that link to the text) This will be due on Thursday when we will do a voice and diction pre-test.
College work:
Monday: Top of the college selection sheet due/ continue PPTS
Weds: College choices rough draft
Next Monday: CLASSICAL mono choices due.
Intro to Drama:
Mon: Introduction to Objective
Assignment: Strong objective
Tuesday: Subtext exercise/ Assign open scenes
Weds- Friday: Objective script assignment.
Example of Objective Script assignment: Due Tuesday
Situation: John broke it off with Jill but now he wants her back.
Objective John: I want Jill to take me back.
Objective Jill: I want John to get in his car and leave.
Script:
John: Jill, I am so sorry.
Jill: You need to leave.
John: I should not have done what I did to you.
Jill: Go get in your car and drive away.
John: Please...don't be like this. I was a jerk.
Jill: Yes you were. Goodbye. (slams door in his face.)
